Soft Serve for Baby

0

I have a problem when it comes to bananas. I buy a bunch with all intentions of eating them asap. But that never seems to happen. I start off with great banana momentum but then I’m left with 2-3 spotty ones. I went through a super healthy eating phase back in my running days and remembered a soft serve concoction I saw on a blog once. Its the easiest and most delicious way to get rid of your nasty brown bananas.

Since I make all the baby’s food myself, and most of my friends and family are still scratching their heads in wonderment, I thought about making a batch for her. So I took my ripe, spotty bananas, cut them up in to chunks, put them in a Tupperware and threw them in the freezer. Once they get all frozen, put the chunks in your food processor and let that baby rip for 5 minutes straight. It blends those bananas into a smooth, creamy like substance that looks and tastes just like soft serve ice cream.

The baby loooooved it. She was a bit shocked with the coldness of the bananas but scarfed it down! Try it out, and its not just for baby. Put some chocolate syrup on that bitch and eat up!

Banana Soft Serve

banana soft serve.

  • 2-3 Ripened Bananas
  • Food Processor

Step 1:

Take those ripened bananas and cut them into chunks. Throw them into a Tupperware and freeze those bad boys. I usually do this step a day in advance.

Step 2:

Put the frozen banana pieces in the food processor and let it go for 5 minute straight. Some of the banana might get thrown up to the sides, so just stop the food processor and push it back into the middle. Then let it rip again. It will blend the banana extremely smooth to a soft serve consistency.

Step 3:

Eat it!
