Thirsty Thursday – Jolly Rancher Infused Vodka

0

I have seen candy infused vodka all over Pinterest and have been dying to make my own concoction. I threw my husband a surprise party a few weeks ago (more on that to come) and decided to whip up a batch for a fun drink to serve at the party.

Didn’t realize how simple and easy it is to do this and it tastes delicious – and potent! Yowzah! You can do all 5 flavors in the candy bag, but I just stuck with my husband’s favorite flavor, cherry. Although, I have a feeling watermelon would be amazing too.

Jolly Rancher Infused Vodka

  • Vodka (I used Svedka, but you can use any)
  • 1 Liter plastic bottle
  • 12-16 Jolly Rancher Candies, same flavor
  • Funnel
  • Decorative bottle

First, you have to unwrap all those little candies and put them in the 1 liter bottle. Take the funnel and place it on top of the bottle and begin to pour in the vodka. Fill her up, put the cap on and give it a good shake. Now let that sit for a few days until all the candies have dissolved, shaking periodically to mix up the flavor.

After a few days of shaking, sitting and dissolving, your infused vodka is ready. Clean out a decorative bottle then stick the funnel on and pour the infused vodka in. Place bottle in freezer until ready for use.

Serve it on the rocks, as a shot or mix it with something, like coke, sprite or seltzer. Since I made cherry infused vodka, I mixed mine with Coke Cola for a Spiked Cherry Coke. It was soooo goooooooood!

giggity

Try out other flavors, let me know how they come!
