I hit up my fave store to find some goodies for an upcoming trip, because lately my clothes have just been boring as hell. Jean shorts and a preggo tank. As comfortable as that sounds, I felt so freaking boring and BLAH. It’s like groundhogs day in my closet. I had to do something to change this cycle. Enter Forever 21. I haven’t been lucky in this store since the beginning of my pregnancy, but this past trip I found some solid pieces that will give a preggo bitch a little boost from the typical boring, blah outfits.
Cuffed Drawstring Pant
Love um. Easy, comfortable and they have an elastic waistband. What more could I ask for?! I got them in navy to wear with a cute pair of flats or if I’m feeling crazy a pair of heels. Only $18!

Elastic-waist Shorts
Bought these guys to switch up from my maternity jean shorts in this unbearable FL heat. They aren’t too hoochie short to make me feel awkward, and extremely comfortable. They had some sherbert-y colors, but I stuck to my typical black. They had some tribal looking patterns that I may go back and get…and they were both a steal at $13!

Oversized Shirts
Gotta cover the belly, don’t want to look like a freakin hoe bag! Found these great shirts to wear with jeans, the drawstring pants, shorts or leggings.

I don’t know why but I am loving these muscle tee’s. They are a nice change from the typical tanks I wear, plus the studding on the shoulders add a little somethin’ somethin’.

Although I feel like I am wearing a tent, this shirt is probably the most comfortable thing I’ve worn in ages. Sleek, button down, jersey material in the front and sheer fabric on the back. Love it-bought it in coral and went back to get black…and only $13!

Sandals
I don’t typically buy shoes at Forever, but I found these gems for $19.97. Been searching for a tan pair for sandals for a while and these fit the bill for my bloating feet and wallet.

Light Weight Sweater
Always a good staple with this crazy, unpredictable weather.
These purchases should hold me off until this bambina pops out, but knowing my compulsive shopping addiction, there will be at least two more shopping trips. Hey, a girl (preggo or not) needs to look and feel good and if shopping helps that, so be it! It’s all about perspective here people.
