Steal of the Century: Quatrefoil Mirror

0

I have been looking all over for something to add to my blah living room to spice things up a bit. It must be the nesting that’s going on with me, but I feel the need to spruce up my living room like yesterday.

I was pokin’ around Walmart a couple weeks ago and stumbled on what I can only call the steal of the century. I literally turned a corner down an aisle that I never go down and I couldn’t be happier that I took this detour. I found a distressed black framed Quatrefoil shaped mirror by Better Homes & Garden. It wasn’t too big, it wasn’t too small, it was the perfect size (21 in. W x .75 in D x 21 in W) for something I was looking for and even the right color. I seriously just love this shape! I have been looking for accent pieces with quatrefoil. Rugs, paintings, drapes – even other mirrors. But the problem always was the price. Other mirrors I had seen were over $40, $50 and even $60. Not too too bad but considering we are still on the tightest budget of our lives, that was a damn splurge. So when this sweet treasure popped up out of nowhere I had to buy it.

Only trouble was there was no price ANYWHERE! I looked around at the other mirrors, checked the front and back of the boxes. I figured since it is Walmart, it couldn’t be more that $30, so I was hoping for the best, but expecting the worse-couldn’t be that lucky.

Or could I?!

Finally I found a price check kiosk, crossed my fingers and scanned that sucker. $14.97…..one, four, nine, seven BABY! I couldn’t believe my eyes and I ran to the check out and brought this sucker home with me. I have yet to hang it up, but I am seriously contemplating going back and buying another one.

in.love.

So seriously, go to Walmart, check down a random wall-hanging decor/mirror aisle and get this mirror! Its trendy, it’s quatrefoil and its only $14.97! You can paint it, hang it, display it, whatever! It will definitely add some fun to any room in the house. Now if I could only figure out where to hang this damn thing!
