My husband will probably read this and make a smart ass comment to me like he did last night when I finally tried out a Christmas present: an ice cream sandwich maker. i’Scream Sliders is one of the coolest (albeit pointless) kitchen gadgets I have and it’s so fun to use..plus it pops out ice cream sandwiches in less than a minute! And if you are a hungry, sweet-crazed pregnant lady, this is vital.
Now I know you are probably thinking, “Why do you need this to device – can’t you just put ice cream between two cookies and be done?!”. That’s all I heard last night when I tried this bad boy out from my husband. I told him to zip it and that random kitchen gadgets are cool. Cuz lets face it, they are.
So what it is, is just a silicon, BPA-free little mold that fits a Chips Ahoy perfectly.

To create these delicious treats, here is what you’ll need…..obvi a cool little i’Scream Slider mold and:
You simply pop one cookie in..add a scoop of ice cream on top of that…
then pop another cookie on top and press…
turn the slider maker over and viola! Perfectly proportioned, chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich!
I ate about 5 last night…I have no shame and plus they were small…..totally justifies it right?!
They retail for $3.99 but if you are lucky you may find one for a total of $2.49 at TJ MAXX (where mine was purchased, thanks Mom!), Homegoods, Marshalls or one of those fantastic stores full of randomly awesome stuff.
Definitely making some of these after lunch…
