Thirsty Thursdays

0

Wine and Vodka are my drinks of choice. Sometimes I get bored with my pinot grigio and like to spice things up. I usually mix it up by making white sangria. Crazy, I know.

You can get so creative with sangria and use what ever fruit is in season. In the summer time, I like to cut up plums, nectarines, and peaches and mix that in with raspberries and blackberries. Shit is delicious!! With the fall season in full effect, I made a delicious Fall Sangria. Try it out this weekend!

Fall Sangria

  • 1 bottle White Wine (I use Pinot Grigio)

    Deliciousness

  • 1 Orange, thinly slices, quartered
  • 2 Apples, cored and cut into small pieces
  • 1 Kiwi, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 Pear, cut into small pieces
  • A handful of grapes, cut
  • 1 cup of Sparkling Water

Start by cleaning and cutting the fruit into pieces. Combine the fruit with the wine in a large pitcher or carafe, cover and let sit in the fridge for at least two hours. This will let all the fruity deliciousness meld together with the wine.

When you are ready to serve, add ice and the sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of orange. Also, it helps to keep a wooden spoon near by to get all those yummy pieces of fruit out.

You can really get crazy and add whatever fruit you want to it! I promise, it will taste amazing and the wine soaked fruit is the shit! Also, if you really want a power punch, 86 the sparkling water.. :-)

Drink up bitches!
