I love shoes. But finding the right pair for a special occasion is next to impossible. Why is it that every time you shouldn’t be shopping you find amazing things that you MUST have, but when you need to buy something for an occasion you can never find what you are looking for?!?! It is so beyond frustrating!!! As you can see I am having one of those moments…for the past 2 weeks.
I bought an amazing dress for a wedding a couple weeks in advanced so I wasn’t rushing around last minute. I figured I would have a sexy pair of shoes in the closet that would go with it. But then I realized that majority of my heels don’t fit me. One of the lovely side effects from my little cutie – bigger feet. Thanks, pregnancy. It’s just not fair. Our bodies are distorted for 9 months and this is the thanks we get?! Sigh. Although, it does give me a reason to buy new shoes.

That site is usually my savior but besides them not fitting, I was almost 6 feet tall! I don’t want to be taller than my husband…I’ll get a giant complex. Wahhhhh! But I do love them and of course they don’t have the next size up. What are the odds. So I spent the day at the mall and scored at Macy’s. Found two potentials that go perfect with my dress. Now I must decide.
I hope this is the only dilemma of my day…but as I sit here contemplating my shoe future, my 7 month old is covered in saliva-gooed Gerber Puffs. Can’t wait to clean that up.
