No joke, these chicks are EVERY WHERE!
I go to the grocery store, there they are.
I go to the doctors office, there they are.
I go out to eat, whattayah know, they are there, posted up right by the entrance. To every store in the entire world.
Waiting, lurking with their cute little smiles and overly zealous parent chaperon. I go to great lengths to avoid these girls. But I got sucked into their web of lies and bought a box of Thin Mints.
So today, my husbands friend and I were shopping and about 3 little scouts were posted up outside the store and flagged us down before we even crossed the street into the store. He fell into their trap, with all the cutesy smiles, little waves and plethora of cookie boxes. As he was purchasing 2 delicious boxes of their famous cookies, one of the little girl scouts turns to him with her big brown eyes and goes, “Hey mister, you know, for $20 you can get 5 WHOLE boxes” as she bats her long eye lashes and flashes us the biggest smile. The two of us look at each other, hysterical and practically melt with the utter cuteness of this little girls method of persuasion. And we walked away with……….5 boxes.
We got hustled.
