I just recently returned from a weekend away in Vegas. Mainly the reason why I have been so MIA on here all week. For some reason I can’t seem to get back into the groove of things. Could it have been all the alcohol consumption? Possibly. Could it have been all the exerted energy playing slots and blackjack? Maybe. Could it have been the hot, Nevada sun? Sure, why not. I’ll never tell though, after all, what happens in Vegas stays there.
But I will tell you this, while there I learned a few things that just have never occurred to me before and frankly, just pisses me off.
1. I officially can’t hang like I used to. Drinking all day by the pool then going out is just not feasible anymore. A little advice, plan your days wisely. Otherwise you will be in bed by 11. Just sayin’.
2. Platform shoes have replaced the flip flop sandal as the go-to pool shoe. Uh, since when?!? I stuck out like a sore thumb wearing, what I thought were cute, trendy sandals. So ladies, if you’re going to Vegas and hitting up some pool parties, don’t forget to pack your 5 inch platform wedge heals to wear with your bikinis. Clearly, I didn’t get the memo but am still confused with this fashion statement. Hmm.
3. “Dub-Step” is the most annoying type of music I’ve ever heard. And they play it everrryyyywherrreeee and all.the.time! What happened to hip-hop?? I hate you, Dub-Step.
Gotta love Vegas, baby!
