If you thought you couldn’t love Dunkin’ Donuts anymore than you already do well then I have one more reason for you to: FREE Donuts June 1st!
Yes you heard me correctly, good ol’ Dunkin’ will be giving 1 free donut to each patron with a purchase of any beverage, Friday June 1st in honor of National Donut Day. The greatest day in the entire world.
Just to give you a little history on how National Donut Day originated, let us go back in the day to 1938. The Salvation Army wanted to honor women who served in WWI by giving them a free donut and the tradition stuck. From then on the first Friday in June would be considered National-freakin’-Donut Day!
So if you pass by a Dunkin’ Donuts June 1st, you better pull in and grab yourself this freebie! I mean, what goes better with an iced coffee, am I right?! You can bet I will be there with bells on to grab a sweet tea and a sugar raised donut. Or maybe I’ll swith it up and try one of their newest creations inspired by Men In Black 3 – the Undercover Black Cocoa Donut: a star shaped yeast donut filled with brownie batter butter creme and topped with chocolate icing and star sprinkles, or the Chocolate Lunarmax Donut, a glazed chocolate cake donut with rich chocolate icing drizzle and star sprinkles. Decisions, decisions!
