Frozen Snow Globe Craft For Kids

If you have a young child, chances are they are slightly obsessed with Disney’s Frozen. My daughter has shirts, socks, books, hair bows, pajamas – you name it, we have it. The movie plays on a loop on any given day. My 3 year old will bust out with ‘Let it Go’ in the middle of Publix. Yeah, slightly obsessed.

So on days when we are stuck in the house due to Baby O’s nap schedule, I like to have arts and crafts handy to keep her occupied. I had a bunch of glitter and bought some snowflake confetti and thought we could make some snow globes. She of course freaked out when I told her what we were doing that day and couldn’t wait get her little hands on that glitter!

Here is what you will need for your homemade Frozen Snow Globes:

Frozen Craft Supplies

  • Small bottle
  • Turquoise/Blue/Silver Glitter (or all three)
  • Snowflake Confetti
  • Water

And a helper….

1. Have your little one place the snow flake confetti in a small bottle. Put as many or as little as they like.

2. Have them add in the glitter. You can get different colors or just one.

3. Add water, screw on the lid as tight as you can and let them shake away!

She had a blast making it and it kept her entertained until the baby was awake. Already scheming my next activity….but beware, I am still finding blue glitter in the most random of places in my house. But that’s how it goes with the love/hate relationship that is glitter!
