Thanks to Mom, Baby & Beyond, South Florida Mom’s got to head to The Ultimate Mom’s Night Out for a fun night out away from the poopy diapers, homework, dirty dishes and piles of laundry to mingle with some brand name vendors, local businesses and sip on some wine with other moms.
As I walked up to the Marriott in Heron Bay, I was greeted by some bumpin’ tunes blaring from family-friendly cars lined up from Coral Springs Auto Mall and fabulous shopping from The Trendy Truck (check them out on FB & Twitter, too!) So before you even walked in to the event, you could tell it was going to unique.
The room was filled with fabulous vendors and as you walk up and down the aisles, it was so hard to decide which vendor to talk to first – so I am going to recap my top 5 favorite vendors that need to be on every mom’s must know/have list:
This product is genius! How many of you moms out there have been delirious at 3 a.m. with a newborn who just woke up to eat and then the dreaded “middle of the night diaper change” goes into effect. Most infant pj’s have you practically take the whole onesie off to change the little stinkers diaper. Not anymore thanks to ZippyZ! The unique design of their stretchies allow you to keep the top 3 buttons snapped and zips down to their feet so you just have to take their legs out of their pj’s to change them. Thus allowing you to keep baby nice and warm and cut diaper changes in half! They come in such cute styles and make perfect gifts for new moms.
Keurig caters to all beverage lovers and their new machine is just awesome! Brew up some iced tea, lemonade, vitamin waters, and of course coffee – hot or cold – in the new Keurig 2.o. It is the mother of all Keurig’s that you can even brew a carafe of coffee! I tried some flavored vitamin water and it was so refreshing!
Ice pops that you will not feel guilty about giving your kids! Sold exclusively at Winn-Dixie, Ruby Rockets are made with fruit and vegetables. No added sugars, just the natural sugars from the fruits and veggies – and believe it or not they are yummy! They are made with non-GMOs, are dairy free and have healthy probiotics added in each pop. I can’t wait to send one of Lil Diva’s pics to them.
Baby-BeeHaven has some great products for moms and their nursing pillow, which will be available this winter, is another genius baby product every nursing mama needs. Think pillow meets a slap bracelet – it secures on your forearm so you can comfortably nurse your little one.
The Ultimate Mom’s Night Out focused on local businesses as well, like their sponsor Whole Foods Coral Springs who had some delectable tastings of fresh, organic soups. Belly Love Spa & Boutique, also a local sponsor which is located in Margate, put on a fashion show of some adorable maternity clothes modeled by even more adorable preggo local mamas!
What made The Ultimate Mom’s Night Out a little more special was the awesome raffle – check out this table of goodies!
100% of the proceeds from selling the raffle tickets benefitted Turtle Power For James Edwards. James suffered a near drowning accident at the beginning of the summer and it is so amazing how the community has supported him and his recovery! It was so touching to see the amount of tickets being sold to help this sweet boy and his family. Huge congrats to The Ultimate Mom’s Night Out crew & Melissa at Mom, Baby & Beyond for putting on this fabulous event for all us moms, we really needed this night out. Looking forward to what is in store for next year! It might take me that long to go through the giant swag bag of goodies
