Yes, I might be The Anti Mom Blog and hate most things like mom jeans, the word “guesstimate”, dark rum and annoying people but I do love books. More importantly, I love that my kids love books. I may not have time to sit around and flip through a good book as much as I’d like but I always have time to read to my girls. With Halloween being one of my favorite times of year, you bet your sweet ass that Halloween books are out by October 1st. I like to get my girls excited for Halloween just as much as I get, so for the entire month of October, I like to keep the house decorated, make Halloween-y treats and crafts, get them spooky pj’s and my favorite, read tons of Halloween books.
We have quite the extensive book collection thanks to my cousin (The Exhausted Mom, go say hi!) and my girls are little book worms – which makes me happy. Also, I’d like to enjoy it as much as I can because there may be a time that they will not want to read, especially with me. (Pause for mom moment, as I wipe a lonely tear)
We spent one afternoon sorting through our books to find our favorite Halloween books and pretty much have read them every single day! I wanted to share some of our favorite Halloween books that your kids will love – and some are so cheap you’d be doing yourself and your kids an injustice for not getting them a copy! A few are classics, and some are just purely awesome. Clearly you can tell that I have more fun with this then they might!
