Sinful Colors Nail Polish

0

Newest obsession of the week: Sinful Colors Professional Nail Enamel. I bought a bunch as stocking stuffers for Christmas and about a month ago found an extra bottle in the bottom of my closet. I am in loooooove! Now, I am an Essie and OPI whore all day every day, but Sinful Colors really stands up to those. They have a ridiculously large variety of colors that will fit any personality and the absolute best part: one bottle is only $1.99! Love love love the price! I have been using the color ‘Easy Going’ – its kinda like Essie’s Fiji,…

Meaningful Beauty….Is it really worth it?

0

About a year ago I got sucked into an infomercial starring Cindy Crawford and how she is in cahoots with some French anti-aging scientist specialist who found the secret to youthful skin. I mean, have you seen Cindy Crawford? She’s beyond stunning….and looks like she could pass for 25. Whore (jk, kinda). Since I hit 30 my skin just isn’t looking like it used. It’s like everything went south and decided to start wrinkling as soon as I woke up on my 30th birthday. So after about 5 minutes into the infomercial, I was all about it – hook, line…

Sleeping In Style ft. The Children’s Place

0

Just because you are asleep, doesn’t mean you can’t look good! That directly applies to the little ones too, especially in my case. My daughter, Ava, is a fashion diva who loves clothes just as much as her mommy. She helps me pick out what I’m wearing for the day and if she doesn’t like what I pick out for her, the little stinker will take it off and won’t get dressed until she approves of the next look. Is that normal for an almost 2 year old? So, at a recent trip to The Children’s Place, I picked up…

Daydream Toy Doodle-Track Car Review!

0

Is it normal for a toddler girl to be infatuated with toy cars? I think so! I know I used to have a little collection of Matchbox cars – along with all my dolls and Barbies When DayDream Toy sent me their best selling Doodle-Track Car, both my little one and I were super excited. You can draw your own track or print out some really cool designs on their website for the red car to race around. Little did I know there was more to this sweet looking car than meets the eye. Using its special marker, you can…

ZinZig Wine Tasting & Triva Game

0

I have been in what some of you might call an alcohol ‘detox’ the past couple months. Every time I drank, I got violently ill. It was like my body was rejecting vodka and wine. I was starting to panic…my bottle of Pinot Grigio at the end of a day full of temper tantrums is my saving grace! So needless to say I haven’t been my wine chugging self lately. Slowly but surely I got back into my old ways and the anti-alcohol virus that had invaded my body has left and I’m back, ready to drink! What better way…

Review: Fisher-Price Apptivity Case

0

If you have a phone, you know that babies have some weird fascination with them. Probably the most expensive teething toy my daughter has. I have gone through 4 cases thanks to drool infestation and droppage. So when it comes to my iPad, I am a bit more protective. But she loves it just as much as the phone and actually knows how to use it already. Scary. For her 1st birthday, a good friend got her probably the coolest gift EVER: the Fisher-Price iPad Apptivity Case. It is pretty awesome. What it is is this crazy, kid-friendly case that…

Scarpetta

0

For months, my husband and I have been dying to dine at Scarpetta in the Fontainebleau Hotel down in SoBe. We have literally been planning it for months and finally decided to go on my 30th birthday. Clearly we are huge fans of “Chopped” so of course we had to try famed Chef Scott Conant’s restaurant since it is practically in our back yard. It was the most awesomely delicious night EVER! The restaurant was extremely posh, I mean, only the best for the Fontainebleau right? We sipped on cocktails, delicious homemade bread with mascarpone whipped butter and homemade caponata….

Food Truck Party

0

I know I’m tardy for the food truck party, but holy shit! Didn’t realize I was missing out on some really good eats! I have always wanted to hit up these infamous mobile restaurants but something would always come up to deter me. I vowed the next time a food truck opportunity would arise, I would leap at the chance to see what all the fuss was about. So a few weeks ago, my friends at Capitol Lighting were having an event and 3 local South Florida food trucks were on hand with some tasty bites. Of course I had…

Dressed & Ready for a Garden Party!

0

Springtime is here whether we are ready or not! The suns beaming, the birds are chirping…ahh…It truly is my favorite time of year! With the change of weather comes a change in wardrobe. If your kiddies are like my little one, they are growing like weeds and need new clothes every other week practically! I was lucky enough to be invited to The Children’s Place Garden Party to introduce their spring styles. As soon as I walked into the store I spotted the sweetest dresses perfect for Spring. Pastels, florals, whites and seersucker as far as the eye could see….
