We recently visited Napa, California and we are still reveling in the experience! When I was a little girl, every peach season my dad would take the ones that were getting a little too ripe and soak them in wine. He would pile sliced peaches in a giant carafe then fill it with red wine. With my recent trip to Total Wine & More, I’ve stocked up on some quality bottles of Pinot Grigio. We shall see if they live up to the hype and up to this wino mom’s standards. I have been blessed to have family living extremely close to me. If I need any help with my lil kiddo, I have my parents 10 minutes South of us, my mother-in-law 10 minutes North, scattered relatives all over Broward/Dade area and a very involved and hands-on husband. Since I am on this Dr. Oz Weight-orade kick, I have an over-abundance of both mint and tangerine. So keeping with this fat-burning, metabolism-boosting theme, I tried to mix up a little concoction with one of my favorite alcoholic beverages, Champagne. Well…Prosecco to be exact.
