How To Clean Your Shower Glass

How To Clean Your Shower Glass

The dreaded shower glass and the grimy spots that appear on it makes me want to rip my hair out! There is nothing that I dislike more than cleaning my shower glass. I don’t know why, but I’d rather scrub every toilet bowl in my house 10 times then clean the damn shower! I have tried using a squeegee after every shower to help eliminate those gross grimy spots, but they still appear. Sure, you can buy different kinds of cleaners to get your glass sparkly clean but who needs all those extra chemicals in your house. I have a little cleaning…

{Date Night} Bonefish Grill New Fall Menu

0

After a few weeks of kids being sick and traveling, my husband and I were long over due for date night! We headed to Bonefish Grill in Coral Springs for some cocktails, Bang Bang Shrimp and to try their new Fall menu we had been hearing about. Bonefish Grill is one of our favorite spots and you can always count on great service with exceptional food, every time. That is what keeps us coming back for more! We headed there on a Wednesday night and to our surprise, the entire restaurant was bumping! Packed with tons of patrons all enjoying…

Healthy Chicken Salad Recipe

Healthy Chicken Salad Recipe

There was a time when I ate chicken salad almost every day. Sure, I may have been pregnant and it was one of the only sandwiches I could eat but that stuff was my jam. Even though I was lazy and pregnant and ordered it from deli’s or Publix most of the time, there were a few instances that I actually made my own. When I did, I tried to make this healthy chicken salad recipe as opposed to the mayo-packed crap I’d get. Needless to say, 10 months of chicken salad pretty much made me take a long…

SoCozy Kids Hair Products

0

Being a child of a hairdresser, I have always had an affinity towards all kinds of hair products. I could spend hours in the hair care aisle trying to figure out which new shampoo to try out or which straightener I wanted next. Now that my girls are getting older and getting away from the typical baby washes, I started paying more attention to what is better for them. It is like a whole different ball game and honestly, just because it has Dora the Explorer on it, doesn’t mean it’s the best for their little tushies and locks. I was…

Sweet Tea Pork Cutlet Sandwich Recipe

Sweet Tea Pork Cutlet Sandwich Recipe

When my husband has a recipe in his head to make, there is no stopping him until he makes it. He will literally think of something that morning then by 4 p.m. he is running out the door to get the necessary ingredients. He’s an impulsive gotta-do-it-now kind of person. The kind of person that will wake up one morning, get it in his head that he wants a new car, go to the dealership, find one and buy it by the time it’s dark. If only he got the impulse in his head that I need a whole…

The Worst Halloween Treats

0

So I may be in my 30’s, with two small children, but I make no secret about the way I feel about Halloween. I freaking love this freaky fun holiday and if I could, I would celebrate it multiple times a year instead of just once. I love seeing all the crazy costumes, the adorable kids strutting their stuff, all the hard work some of these parents have done to decorate and create their own costumes and lets not forget about the pumpkins-love me a good jack-o-latern! There is one thing I do absolutely hate about Halloween, and it’s when you…

{Taco Tuesday} Turkey Lettuce Tacos

{Taco Tuesday} Turkey Lettuce Tacos

Tacos have been on my mind since I saw a recent rerun of Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives and Guy was chowing down on some killer tacos at some amazing little hole in the wall. I figured a Taco Tuesday was in order! We usually eat on the later side because my husband works till about 6:30 every night and then family time with the kids follow for an hour until their bed time. So dinner is usually after all of that madness. I didn’t want to feel bust-at-the-seams full, so I thought about switching up the usual flour &…

Quit Prilosec Cold Turkey!

2

Back in college, when I would drink 6 out of the 7 days a week, every morning after I’d wake up or before I ate for the day, I needed to take a Zantac. I really didn’t think much of it, I was young, stupid and hungover. I wanted something to kill the painful burning so I could continue with my day (and night!). After college, when I got a real job and got a tad wiser, I found Prilosec. I started taking that every morning and there would be no heart burn all day. It was awesome. I could eat…

Purex Crystals Aromatherapy Gives Laundry Energy!

1

The Purex brand provided me with a sample of Purex Crystals Aromatherapy in exchange for a product review. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own. Laundry. It’s safe to say we all have a love-hate relationship with this chore. I come from a long line of launders, who unlike myself, enjoy spending hours in their “office” (aka the laundry room) folding, ironing and spin-cycling. Growing up I never did laundry, heck, I didn’t even know how to turn the machine on! When I went off to college, my mom gave me a quick tutorial and sent me to the…

Halloween Books For Kids

0

Yes, I might be The Anti Mom Blog and hate most things like mom jeans, the word “guesstimate”, dark rum and annoying people but I do love books. More importantly, I love that my kids love books. I may not have time to sit around and flip through a good book as much as I’d like but I always have time to read to my girls. With Halloween being one of my favorite times of year, you bet your sweet ass that Halloween books are out by October 1st. I like to get my girls excited for Halloween just as much as…
