Healthy eating has always been a struggle for me and my husband. It wasn’t till I started really understanding what healthy eating entailed, that it became second nature. About a year ago, I started 21 Day Fix from Beachbody that jump-started my healthy eating adventures. I learned portion control, the right & wrong foods for my body and how to cook healthy for not only me, but my family.
So I am sharing with you today 10 of my favorite 21 Day Fix approved recipes that you (& your family!) will love. Even if you aren’t into the 21 Day Fix, these recipes are full of fresh, whole foods that don’t require crazy ingredients or a whole lot of time either.
These make for a nutritious and easy grab-and-go breakfast. Full of protein and will keep you full till snack time comes around!
This has become one of my favorite dishes to make. A great alternative to pasta, Zoodles will keep you full with out the carb overload. You could even make the zucchini into thin strips to mimic lasagna! A perfect main dish or even side dish & even better leftover.
I became obsessed with this salad that my husband had an intervention! This is a must try and will even turn the biggest brussels sprout haters into lovers.
Another great make ahead lunch that you can just grab and go. Full of flavor, yummy veggies and protein.
This is a guiltless burrito bowl that will leave you feeling satisfied. Just add your favorite protein!
Cannellini Beans & Sauteed Greens
Simple side dish that could even be a main dish. The chard is full of flavor and the white beans fill you up with protein. With just a tang of lemon!
Love this as a snack or even a quick lunch. Within 15 minutes, you will have a filling flatbread that is jammed packed full of flavor!
Being Italian, we take our meatballs very seriously. With that being said, I only make these turkey meatballs – eat them plain or toss them in sauce with spaghetti, they are a crowd pleaser.
These are SO incredible! A little creation I whipped up one night after being bored of my typical grilled chicken. The stuffing is filling and the crunchy whole wheat bread crumbs make these roll ups over the top!
Who said healthy eating had to taste bad?! The best thing is most of these can be made in bulk and are great for meal planning. As much as I’d like to do it more, meal preps are a great way to stay on track and eat healthy. Can’t wait for my next round!
